Clare Shaw has three poetry collections published by Bloodaxe Books, Straight Ahead, Head On, and Flood. Her forthcoming collection, Towards a General Theory of Love, will be published in May 2022. Winner of a Northern Writers’ Award, the collection shows that poetry can say as much as about who we are, and especially how we feel, as psychology. Clare runs training courses on mental health awareness and lives in Hebden Bridge.
